Trim Videos After a Still Ending

Detect a sustained freeze and trim the tail after it starts.

What it does

Still Trim finds the latest sustained freeze in each selected video, keeps a chosen amount after the freeze begins, and removes the remaining tail.

When to use it

  • Clean up recorded demos that finish on a static screen
  • Shorten tutorial recordings with a frozen ending
  • Prepare screen recordings with repeated still tails

How to use it

  1. Select the videos

Drag files into BlinkClip or use Select Videos to choose the batch.

  2. Choose Still Trim

Choose Still Trim, set the minimum freeze duration and sensitivity, then choose what happens when no freeze is detected.

  3. Process and review

Start the batch, then open the processed files in Finder and check representative results.

Important behavior

Detection is automatic and can miss a freeze or find a false positive. Test representative files, review the results, and keep the originals.
